We are working with a specialist battery reconditioning company supporting the automotive sector who are looking to appoint a Customer Liaison Coordinator to join their growing operations team in the East Midlands.


This is a key customer-facing position, acting as the main point of contact for a portfolio of B2B automotive clients, including dealerships, vehicle showrooms and automotive manufacturers. You will manage customer communications around battery repair and reconditioning services, ensuring clients are kept fully informed on repair progress, turnaround times, and service updates.


Working closely with internal manufacturing and technical teams, you will ensure customers receive accurate, timely updates while proactively managing expectations and maintaining strong client relationships.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for B2B customer enquiries relating to battery repair status, reconditioning progress, and product returns
  • Build strong working relationships with automotive dealerships, showrooms, and manufacturer clients
  • Liaise closely with internal manufacturing and technical teams to determine the progress of repair and reconditioning orders
  • Monitor service timelines and proactively chase updates to ensure customers receive accurate progress reports
  • Provide clear and professional updates to customers regarding turnaround times and service delivery
  • Track and manage customer cases through the company’s bespoke internal systems
  • Monitor response times and ensure all customer queries are handled promptly and professionally
  • Collate operational data and produce regular status and performance reports for senior management
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all case information is updated in real time


About You

  • Strong communication and relationship management skills, confident working with external business clients and internal teams
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Proactive approach with the ability to follow up internally and keep workflows moving
  • Comfortable managing multiple cases and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong systems and database experience (essential)
  • Confident learning and navigating bespoke internal platforms
  • Ability to gather, analyse and present operational data clearly to management
  • Experience within automotive, manufacturing, engineering or technical environments would be advantageous
  • Previous experience working with B2B customers such as dealerships, manufacturers or distributors would be highly beneficial


This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking business operating within the automotive supply chain, initially on a 6-month contract outside IR35, with one day per week working from home.
